ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING REGISTRATION FORM

The RTO Annual General Meeting will be held on Thursday, May 15th 9:30 at the NSTU building. The RTO AGM Dinner will be held at the Barrington Hotel (Tempo Restaurant) on Wednesday, May 14th, 2025 at 6:30 pm.

Accommodations: A block of rooms in the name of the NSTU Retired Teachers Organization (RTO) has been reserved at Barrington Hotel for delegates requiring accommodations. Each member must book their own room by calling 902-429-7410. Please indicate that you are with “RTO NSTU Retired Teachers Organization”. Your reservation includes free parking in the Hotel Halifax parkade and a complimentary buffet breakfast. (Please be aware: Reservations should be made early since the Barrington Hotel has fewer guest rooms than the Hotel Halifax.)

You may be asked to show your RTO card at the reception desk. All delegates will pay their own hotel bill and delegates who are eligible for accommodation coverage will include the nights of May 14th and 15th. Presidents and eligible Branch second delegates who live more than 300 km from Halifax may claim for the evening of May 13th as well. Please attach the hotel receipt with your expense voucher.

Registration: Please complete the registration form on the reverse side of this sheet, download copy from the website, or complete and submit from the website rtonstu.ca if you plan to attend the RTO Dinner and /or the RTO Annual General Meeting.

RTO ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

I will be attending the AGM Business Meeting at the NSTU Building on Thursday, May 15th at 9:30 am.

A registration desk will be set up at 8:30 am to distribute voting cards. AGM material will be sent electronically a week before the meeting and hard copies will be available at the registration desk.

Registration and Dinner(s) payment(s) must be received prior to April 25th.
